Now, you all know how nice is to have fresh and good smelling air at home 24hrs per day. Like paradise. I’m used to this sensation too, but before June, my experience about it was like this:
– you buy a normal air refreshing
– it smells good for ten days, then it doesn’t smell anymore because it’s empty
– during these ten days, pay attention to open the windows, have kids, cats, flu, everything that could inadvertently cause a windage, because even a house of cards would stand whereas your air freshener would unfailingly fall and spread. At this point the options are two: either it will fall on your granny’s doily or on some important document. This normally happens in the first and only ten days of life of your air freshener.
As you can see in the picture above, Tomelo, the Portuguese brand I’ve already introduced you in this post, has found a brilliant solution regarding natural air fresheners.
They created air freshener wooden mushrooms, on which one it is poured the essential oil. The wood is the perfect material for this purpose, as it retains the scent and gradually releases it. The result is even amplified if the drops are poured under the mushroom. This natural air freshener will therefore not spill, and even if it would fall, it won’t spread liquids all over the place. The essential oils we tried were Lavender and Thyme, but those are not the only scents Tomelo has. What distinguished these oils from the others is that they are 100% natural,
gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan (oh sorry, it’s the force of habit). The mushrooms are no less, being 100% handmade and from tree branches from annual pruning, as well as cleaning of forests for fire preventing. Also, since we are dealing with a “rechargeable” mushroom, it will surely last more than ten days 😉
